Stanly was exceptional. From the valet greeting us on arrival to an early breakfast delivered to our room, the staff kept checking that we were having a good time. When we realized we’d miss the animal-feeding session, they arranged a short private visit instead, which made our day. Those little accommodations make a real difference. A long weekend with little ones would be a great time to visit. The property is modern and spacious, spread over acres with gardens, several pools, hot tubs, farm animals, and a huge multi-planar infinity sign. Free bikes are available when you need them. We’ll be back.

We’ve stayed at Stanly Ranch several times, and it keeps becoming more of a favorite Napa resort. The grounds, rooms, and landscaping are immaculate and thoughtfully maintained. It feels luxurious and beautifully designed, yet still warm, relaxed, and connected to Napa’s natural setting. The staff stand out most. Everyone we’ve met has been kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without getting too formal. They make us feel cared for while still leaving us room to unwind. Each visit has had its own special moments, whether it’s a quiet morning, a lovely meal, or simply enjoying the views and atmosphere. We always look forward to returning. It consistently exceeds expectations and is a great choice for a luxurious, relaxing Napa getaway.

The restaurant, rooms, views, and service all went beyond what I expected. Bear’s food was a real treat, especially the crispy rice. Staff can drive you to your room in a caddy, and they’ll put together an incredible full-weekend itinerary. The whole stay felt like a luxury experience where you’re treated like royalty. If that’s what you’re after, don’t hesitate to book longer than you think you’ll need at Stanley Ranch.

We booked our Valentine’s weekend at the last minute, reserving Thursday for a Friday arrival, so we weren’t expecting too much. The team quickly got in touch about our plans and helped organize everything professionally. The rooms were modern, beautiful, and very comfortable. Even during rainy low season, the property felt calm and cozy, and good value. It was relaxed and genuinely pet friendly. The wellness options helped make the weekend. The food was exceptional. Breakfast was a joy each morning, and the bakery deserves a special mention for one of the best Danishes I’ve had. The Bear uses high-quality ingredients and has a real farm-to-table feel, though the menu could use a refresh to make it more exciting and better match the rest of the property. We were first-time visitors to Napa and came away impressed. I’d like to see wine activities promoted more clearly, though booking so late may have meant we didn’t know what was available. The stay exceeded our expectations, and we’ll absolutely be back.
