The George Luxury Boutique Inn

We enjoyed the sparkling wine in our beautiful room after being welcomed. The place has recently been fully renovated, and everything looks brand new and is kept in perfect condition. The bathroom was spotless, with a nicely heated tile floor. Our spacious room had a cute window nook for relaxing with a glass of wine, and the AC and bed made it very comfortable. In the morning, the chef who prepared the breakfast buffet was super nice and explained the items. The George is in a quiet residential area, within walking distance of downtown Napa. Everything was perfect for a romantic getaway.

My only small gripe was the good coffee not being ready until 8am. Coming from Texas, the two-hour time difference had us up two hours earlier, and if you’re particular about coffee, the Keurig in the room doesn’t cut it. Having it available at 7am would be nice. We had a great stay at The George last week for our annual wine country getaway, in suite 301 on the third floor. The room was huge and felt nothing like a hotel because there was so much space. The bed felt like a cloud, and the shower was big and nice. Towels were fluffy and absorbent too. Breakfast was the best surprise, with protein like bacon or sausage, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, fruit, breads, and more each morning. Exactly what we needed before a day of wine tasting. We’d stay here again.

Patty, the owner, and the staff made room for us at the last minute and gave us a wonderful night’s stay. We’d had noisy, uncomfortable accommodations at an inn on the river walk, and finding The George saved our anniversary trip to Napa. It’s a historic property renovated beautifully with modern luxury. Our room was spacious, with a fireplace, a super comfy bed, and lovely linens. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The neighborhood felt very safe and quiet, and we could walk to downtown Napa and the river. We highly recommend it.

We loved the Matouk towels and robes, and the bedding was plush and cozy. The homemade breakfast was fresh, and since there was a table in our bedroom, we brought it upstairs. Staff were courteous and helpful, and it was nice to have parking just for guests. The George is a stunning boutique inn, bright, charming, and luxurious. I loved the Victorian building with its newly renovated amenities. My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay in a bright, spacious room on the top floor. It’s several floors up, so I wouldn’t recommend that room for everyone. There’s one ADA-friendly room if needed. The inn is in a more residential part of Napa. Walking is fine, though it can get pretty dark in the evening. We mostly drove around town and didn’t walk much from the inn.
