Alicia is a great manager, and every other staff member I’ve met has been kind and accommodating. I’ve stayed here on and off for a long time, and the quiet, comfortable rooms and good amenities keep me coming back. Any problems that come up get handled. Of all the Motel 6 places I’ve stayed, this one’s my favorite. I recommend it.
Parking for my wheelchair van was right outside my room, which was helpful. The bed was comfortable enough, and the sink was accessible, though turning around to use it was difficult. The rest of this supposedly accessible room was a struggle: I had to move the desk chair to fit my wheelchair in and shift the luggage rack just to turn around. The toilet was too low, and the room was tiny and inaccessible. The mirror was broken, the tub looked dirty from old non-slip tape marks and rust, and the door frame near the lock felt soft, like a poor repair after damage. See photos. This property needs to follow ADA guidelines for what counts as an “accessible” room.
We ended up going to the north Motel 6 in Nashua, and they were absolutely amazing. It cost a little more, but it was worth it. This place was cheap, and there’s a reason: our experience was awful. We’d stayed here for five days, and around 75% of the rooms were available to rent. Our booked room’s card wouldn’t go through, so we had to use another card, which pushed us past checkout time. They then cancelled our rental and told us to leave, giving us five minutes before calling the police. The officers saw us packing and were fine with us taking the time we needed. The manager swore at us, and an employee I was told was named Taylor, blond and skinny, stood in my doorway threatening me. I thought she was going to hit me. I called the general manager, but when I finally reached him, he was extremely rude and wouldn’t help get me a refund for the cancelled room. There was trash everywhere, and in the woods they dump old mattresses and shopping carts. It looks like a landfill.
The rooms were disgusting, and the second one had what looked like oil or resin rubbed into the blankets. After a day of Jiu Jitsu and riding my motorcycle in the heat, I returned to find the room flooded. My bags and spare clothes, all I had with me on this motorcycle trip, were soaked in the corner. They gave me another room, so I had to haul all my stuff back and forth before I could even start laundry. Then I spent the next four hours and more money at their laundromat, which has just one washer and dryer, so I’d have something to wear after sweating all day. I shouldn’t have had to do any of that. Not worth a cent.
Amanda and Alicia, the women shown in the attached photos, were screaming and acting out of control at the front desk. One of them had her child at work, so this was happening in front of a child too. Their cussing and behavior were despicable and completely inappropriate for the business. I’ve never had customer service this poor. They were rude and disgusting, and need to be terminated immediately. DO BETTER.
