The Alexis Inn & Suites - Nashville Airport

The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast was great. It worked well as a one-night stop. The neighborhood wasn’t ideal, but there were decent places to eat within driving distance.

The daily continental breakfast was delicious, with biscuits and gravy, pork and turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, a make-your-own waffle machine, bagels, muffins, orange juice, and fresh hot coffee. Housekeeping turned the room over each day and brought fresh towels. My bed was comfortable, and the staff were polite and responsive. I was visiting Nashville for an event and stayed at Alexis Inn and Suites. I chose the accessible room with a walk-in shower, which was a nice feature compared with a tub shower. Parking was free, check-in was quick, and both the hotel and room were very clean. I had an enjoyable stay and recommend Alexis Inn and Suites in Nashville for its accommodations, location, and value.

The woman at the front desk was welcoming and kind, but the rest of my experience was frightening. My room door wouldn’t lock, a serious safety concern as a young woman traveling alone. Maintenance said they fixed it, but when I came back, it still wouldn’t lock. There was a strong unpleasant smell as soon as I entered the room. I also saw an elevator notice about a “ladybug” situation, which made me more concerned about the property’s condition and cleanliness. I didn’t feel safe, so I left and drove six hours home in the middle of the night. I didn’t ask for a refund because of the no-refund policy. I just needed to get somewhere safe. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially if you’re traveling alone.

The elevator was out of order, so we had to climb five flights of stairs to our room. Our window faced the interstate, and there was no soundproofing at all. Traffic was right outside and kept us up all night, so we didn’t get a good night’s sleep. Ask for a room away from the interstate if you want to sleep. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and breakfast had several good options.
