Candlewood Suites Nashville - Metro Center by IHG

The location was amazing, with other hotels nearby, a Mexican restaurant in the parking lot, and plenty of food options around. The service desk staff were kind and helpful, the pet fee wasn’t huge, and the place was SO clean. That was a relief after we had to switch hotels at the last minute when we arrived in Nashville and found the Red Roof Inn moldy and unsanitary. I’m so pleased with my stay.

There’s fresh-ground coffee available around the clock, and the staff have been wonderful and accommodating. The rooms and bedding are clean. In the kitchenette, there’s a full-size fridge, dishwasher, and two-burner cooktop. If you need something that isn’t in your room, the office can probably lend it, except an Instant Pot. The outdoor pool is clean and sits by a patio with a grill, where you can relax and watch deer wander past. Washers and dryers are free in the gym area, but bring your own detergent.

It’s a clean, quiet place with friendly staff, and the location is handy without being too close to downtown. It’s about a 5 to 10 minute drive when traffic is clear. The room felt like a home away from home thanks to the full-size fridge, countertop range, and patio grill. The only thing I missed was weights in the fitness room.

While I was waiting for my apartment, I had an awesome stay at Candlewood. Having a kitchenette and a fridge for my insulin made it a great choice for me. It felt like a vacation.
