Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Nashville Airport, TN

Even during the major Nashville power outage, the hotel stayed very quiet. I was there through the winter storm, and it’s one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in a long time. The staff were easy to deal with, helpful, and never made me feel rushed or unimportant. Check-in was a breeze, and there was something new at the breakfast buffet every day. Honestly, I can’t think of anything to complain about.

After a 13-hour drive, my family and I ended up at the wrong Country Inn because we entered the wrong address. The woman gave us another address, but that was wrong too, before we eventually found the right one. We were exhausted, so we checked for bed bugs and went to sleep. In the morning, a worker rudely took the waffle-making supplies away just as I was waiting in line behind another guest. Around then, my daughter sent a photo of what was behind the bed: Teddy Grahams, a Gatorade cap, underwear, and glasses. The room was dirty, damp, and smelled of mildew. We let it go and drove to a nearby hotel, then I called back because my daughter had left her phone charger. The woman asked for my room number, said they had nothing, and hung up rudely. I can’t believe this is how they treated a guest. Their manager should be embarrassed and disappointed.

I was in room 603 during the January 27, 2026 ice storm, when it was the last room available, so I didn’t feel I could complain. Still, I should have been warned that the door didn’t meet the frame: the gap was wide enough for three fingers side by side, and I could see the colored hallway carpet through it. From outside, you could clearly see into the room, including my jacket on the chair. At check-in, nobody told me the TV provider was out because they use Dish.

We felt safe here, which matters to us since we’re from Memphis, and it’s easy to take a Lyft to different areas. The rates were very affordable, too. Our small two-queen room was at the end of the hall and had an unusual layout that we really liked. The whole hotel was cleaner than most, the staff were wonderful, and the breakfast was next-level tasty. There was also a nice-sized bathtub, and both check-in and check-out were a breeze. We’ve added it to our short list of places to return to. Thanks for a great stay!
