DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Nashville Airport

The staff were the one bright spot. Everyone was kind and wonderful, and I hope management gives them better support and the tools they need. I asked the bartender for more silverware and was told they were running low and couldn't give me enough. The room itself was uncomfortable: the sofa bed was broken, the carpet was stained and dirty, the old shower had weak pressure, and there was mold on the ceiling. The hotel feels very old and needs investment or much better upkeep. As a Hilton member, I expected the standard I've had at other Hilton properties, which is why my family usually chooses the brand. I was very dissatisfied and won't return to this location.

The breakfast was the same basic Hampton Inn style, but here it cost $21.95, and they only told us after we'd sat down with our food. The hotel felt rough, dirty, and old, and the beds were stiff. At check-in the staff member didn't greet me; she seemed to be on her cell phone with her children's father whenever I passed, for about an hour. I chose this place expecting a DoubleTree to be consistent, but it wasn't. Such a disappointment. If you stay in hotels often, you can find a better one.

Thanks for putting us up during the icy rain emergency. The welcome cookie was good, but the fried pickles were the best I've ever tried. A couple of small fixes would help, like adding an air pump and adjusting the front door timing so cold air doesn't rush into the dining area. Destiny was the best bartender. She was friendly and attentive, with great customer service, and made sure we had what we needed throughout the week I stayed. She really made the visit a great experience. Highly recommend!
