Hampton Inn Hilton Nashville Airport Century Place

I stayed six nights and was pleased with the room and the staff. The room was clean and serviced every other day. Be aware that parking costs $10 per night. That charge wasn’t clear when I made the reservation and would have affected my choice of hotels. Housekeeping forgot to leave toilet paper and hand towels, but they were happy to bring them when I asked.

The gym was great, the showers and restroom were nice, and the front desk staff were very kind. It’s also very close to the airport. The rooms weren’t the cleanest, and there were stained mattresses. Construction above us started at 8am, even on weekends, and the other guests weren’t the best crowd.

The room was clean, though a bit small, and being near the airport is convenient for travel. The shuttle was a problem. We were led to believe it ran every 30 minutes, but it only runs at :00 and :30 if requested. We waited a while and the shuttle never showed up.

Breakfast was mediocre, and the safe didn’t work after we reported that too. The main problem was the broken sliding barn door in my parents’ room. It dragged along the floor, and my elderly parents found it too difficult to lift. They couldn’t close it when using the restroom or use the closet. They told Terrence at the front desk after checking in Friday night and were told maintenance would come at 8:30 in the morning. My mother made clear how difficult the door was for them. We reported it again later that morning to Stacy or Stephanie, who said it would be fixed, then we were out all day. When we got back after 9pm, the door still hadn’t been fixed. They promised to comp one night, but that wouldn’t have been necessary if they’d just repaired it.
