Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville @ Opryland

Ash and the rest of the staff were so kind and accommodating. I especially appreciated that the security guard bought food for the stray cat living in the bushes by the hotel door. I love animals, so that won me over. For a little ole Hampton Inn among a cluster of hotels, this one has something special about it. I was in town for a convention at Gaylord Opryland and walked there every day. It’s definitely doable, though the route from the hotel isn’t the prettiest. There’s a nearby strip mall with vintage stores I unfortunately missed, and an alley beside it leads to Scoreboards if you want a drink. The place looks a little shady, but I don’t think it is, that I know of. The people around here are very nice. I also found it easy to Uber to East Nashville to see my friend a couple of times. Thanks Ash and staff for being so kind!

During the 2026 Ice Storm, our newborn was less than a week old and we lost power. Andrea took our call and reservation at the Hampton Inn & Suites, and within an hour or two our whole family was in a room: me, my partner, the baby, our toddler, two dogs, and my mother-in-law. Andrea was such a calming presence whenever we came through the lobby during the week it took to get our power back. Bruce, the GM, is lucky to have her. The whole team at this location was amazing, and I’ll recommend them to friends and family coming to town.

Ash at the front desk made everything easy and friendly, from digital check in to getting a key through guest service. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from. The room had a welcome message on the TV, a large bathroom, and lots of space. Even the towels and towel animal were a nice touch that made the place feel fancy. We had an amazing weekend and will stay here next time we’re in Nashville. Thanks Ash and the rest of the staff for a wonderful experience.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and Andrea at the front desk was the highlight of our stay. She was compassionate, professional, and accommodating, and clearly cared about our wellbeing during a stressful time. My family and I booked the Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville @ Opryland on Monday, January 26th after losing power at home in the Nashville snow and ice storm. We needed a safe, warm place close by, since we didn’t want to travel far on icy streets. Under normal circumstances, this would have been a strong stay. The disappointment was the lack of flexibility on price during a local emergency. After checking in, I asked about the rumored $99 “Emergency Stay” rate for local residents displaced by the outage. Andrea hadn’t heard of it, but offered to look into it and apply an adjustment if possible. In the end, there was no accommodation or adjustment, and we paid over $182 per night for a double room, nearly $200 per night, for two nights. I later learned that other Nashville hotels, including the JW downtown, had adjusted rates for displaced residents to more reasonable levels. We also would have appreciated being told in advance about low water pressure due to ongoing renovations. We’re grateful for Andrea’s kindness and for the room’s comfort and cleanliness, but the pricing response during an emergency is why this doesn’t earn five stars. More compassion in situations like this would improve the guest experience.
