Holiday Inn Nashville - Vanderbilt (Dwtn) by IHG

We found the hotel we want to use on future trips to Nashville. My girlfriend and I visit several times a year, and this week at the Holiday Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location worked well, and the shuttle was a nice amenity. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, and helped us switch room types at the last minute because they had availability. We also enjoyed the food and live music at the attached Commodore Grill. There were lots of gluten-free options, and the servers understood allergen safety. When there was confusion about a menu item, Madi went to get the manager, Michelle. She spoke with us and the other staff, worked out a solution for our meal, and made a plan to address the menu issue promptly going forward. We appreciated how carefully they handled our concern and their sincere care for other customers’ safety, well-being, and comfort. We felt looked after. Thanks to everyone at this location for a great Nashville visit.

The lobby Commodore Grille has amazing live music every night, and the location makes it easy to walk to just about anything. This time, Melissa helped make my check-in smooth. The doormen were all so sweet, professional, and kind throughout my stay. Housekeeping was efficient and kind too. I’ve always enjoyed staying here, and I’ll recommend it to everyone I know.

Myra told us about Nashville life and culture and made a delicious cappuccino. The hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating, and the buffet breakfast was great. We also liked the nightly country open mic during dinner and drinks. The hotel isn’t very close to the popular attractions, but shuttles to 7th and Broadway run pretty often, and it’s a short walk from there to the busy part of Broadway. It’s more affordable than hotels nearer the tourist areas. Our room was clean, had a little fridge for leftovers, and came with a bonus view of the Nash Parthenon. I’d stay here again in Nashville.

The room was spacious and very clean, with a large fridge and microwave. The free shuttle to downtown and back is a nice perk, though we didn’t use it. Parking wasn’t terribly priced by downtown Nashville standards. I’d stay here again, especially if I could get a decent rate.
