I was really disappointed, and wish I'd looked into this place more before booking. In my room, there was a water bottle behind the bed, an empty coffee creamer container under the couch, and what looked like dried vomit or food residue beneath another part of the couch. The nightstand was barely staying together. The property outside needs a lot of work too. Even though it was the middle of winter, they didn't seem to care enough to pick up the trash. The inside could use plenty of improvement as well. A Hyatt I stayed at in Baton Rouge was in better shape, even while under construction. The reviews on the hotel's website and through TripAdvisor were good, but I suspect they may have paid for them. I also got charged a “privilege tax.” I won't stay here again.

For a hotel in its category, this is a very good value. The small staff is friendly, the rooms and breakfast area are clean, and everything works. The free buffet is fine, with especially good fresh fruit salad. The location turned out to be handy for plenty of places as well as the airport. I've stayed here before and plan to come back. Obviously, it's not a five-star hotel.

The free breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly. The price wasn't too bad, and we usually choose Hyatt Place when we travel. My wife and I were here for our anniversary and my birthday, and the airport is close by, which was convenient. The room was okay but could use updating. The TV remote barely worked, and the shower never got hot, even though the sink had hot water.

I was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews. The king room had a couch and lots of space, and the temperature was easy to adjust. Sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable for a one-night stay. The room wasn't updated and the carpet looked dingy, and the toilet was slow to flush. The shower had great pressure and stayed hot. Breakfast had a wide range of options, the coffee was hot and strong, and there were lots of teas. Brandi at the front desk was personable and very nice. The hotel was easy to reach, though parking was limited; I found a spot in back. The website mentions a shuttle for BNA, which would be a nice perk if you're flying, but I didn't use it so can't speak to the service. It's in an area with lots of other hotels and a nearby gas station. If you're used to nicer Hyatts, this won't feel the same, but it works for a budget traveler.

The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast had a great variety of things to choose from, and they offer overnight parking and a shuttle for guests. I stayed in a double room the night before my flight. It was clean and comfortable, though the desk legs were falling apart and I had to shimmy it into place so it wouldn't collapse. There was no soap in the dispensers.
