Hyatt Place Nashville Brentwood

When the Nashville ice storm knocked out power for so many people, this hotel became our home. Jeff, the hotel manager, and Chris at the front desk worked incredibly hard to help everyone feel safe and welcome, almost like family. The maintenance team stayed available, housekeeping did a great job, and the kitchen staff kept making hot breakfasts even when delivery trucks couldn't get through. They filled in with what they had. I'm so grateful for this place: kind staff, good rooms, and great prices.

Chris at the desk actually remembered my husband by name from our stay the year before. That kind of welcome made this an especially good stop on our way to vacation. Check-in was easy, parking was plentiful, and the hotel is right off I-65. We slept well on a mattress that felt supportive without being too firm. Breakfast came with the room and had both hot and cold choices, including eggs, potatoes, French toast sticks, sausage, cereal, toast, bagels, fruit, and juice. We enjoyed the accommodations and would happily use it as our midway overnight stop again.

Work trips are easy when I stay at Hyatt Brentwood. It's conveniently located, parking is simple, and the hotel is nice. I also look forward to the good breakfast choices in the morning. Kelly and Chris are especially kind and helpful, and their terrific customer service makes the place feel like a home away from home. Thanks to you all, Tara.

The people were the best part for me. The Hyatt team was very nice, and the service made the older rooms, halls, and elevators easier to overlook. It's on a small hill with a nice exterior and a little view. Breakfast was decent, with good variety, good oatmeal, and the usual good Hyatt waffles. I used the gym one night: four treadmills and a bike, quite a few dumbbells, but no cables, just one tiny bench, and no exercise or stability balls. I was here for business, and the dated feel was about what the ratings led me to expect. The hallway and room carpets are old, the room looks dated, and the bathroom is so small I had to get all the way in and shut the door before using the toilet or shower. I didn't sleep well, and a colleague on the floor below didn't either. Maybe it was the beds or the room's poor air circulation, maybe it was just us. I can't say. If I'm on a budget, I'd come back mostly for the people and service, not really the rooms.
