Hyatt Place Nashville Green Hills

James made our three nights for a hockey tournament feel especially welcoming. He was amazing, wearing many hats, and deserves a raise. The hotel was clean, the food was great, and we had fabulous conversations. Highly recommend.

When an unprecedented ice storm left my home without power and heat for a long time, I managed to get a room at Hyatt Place Green Hills. I felt safe and looked after during the several nights I stayed. The staff communicated clearly and openly, and seemed to have quickly set up a plan for storm guests, people extending stays, and those checking out after power came back sooner than expected. Across Nashville, the outage had left many hotels chaotic, with people in lobbies trying to stay warm, asking questions, or searching for rooms. Hyatt handled it with remarkable grace. They opened the lobby to people who needed warmth and acted with flexibility and empathy as part of the Nashville community, trying to do right by residents. My family usually stays here when visiting because it's bright, roomy, clean, and the service has always been wonderful. I was especially impressed and grateful for how they cared for people during the storm.

We were locals, frazzled when we arrived during the Nashville ice storm in January of 2026. The staff had been stuck at the hotel for days because of the weather, but they still helped us with smiles and so much kindness. Our room was very clean, and the pull-out couch made the layout work well for a family. We'd stayed at five different Nashville hotels during the storm, and this one was definitely our favorite. I'll recommend it to visitors in the area.

My fridge wasn't working, but the staff stored my things in another fridge and gave me a parking credit. They were also happy to bring extra towels and pillows. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, and breakfast had a few decent choices. The room itself was in okay condition, though it looked bare and a little drab. The hotel is next to the mall, which could suit shoppers, and it's away from busy downtown.
