The view of downtown Nashville is beautiful, especially at night when the high rises are lit up. The "Batman" building is the coolest, and it’s the tallest in Tennessee, Google it :D. The rooms were clean, housekeeping was respectful and thorough, and the staff were hospitable and kind. The facility felt secure, with limited access and full monitoring. For the price, it’s cost effective, and a great place to stay if you’re in the area.
For a no-frills stay, I was really pleased with what I got for the price. The room was spotless, with a bigger than usual mini-fridge, microwave, hanging flat screen, fluffy pillows, and a cozy bed. The water pressure was amazing, and there were lots of towels. I’m picky about cleanliness, and this room was immaculate. The location isn’t the best, but it’s on the outskirts of Nashville, and I never felt in danger. The gentleman who greeted me was lovely and efficient, checked me in quickly, gave directions to the room, and helped me figure out parking. I paid $10 for 24-hour parking, which I didn’t mind since parking in Nashville is nuts. He was also there when I checked out the next day and pointed out the continental breakfast area. I hadn’t realized it was included, and at 11 a.m. I was surprised it was still available. Hotels I’ve stayed at since relocating from Washington state usually wrap up breakfast by 9. For a couple of nights at a decent price, with a good sleep, hot shower, somewhere to relax and watch TV, and space for snacks, it’s a great little stay. I’d absolutely come back. I’ve paid a lot more for a lot less. Thanks to the staff at Knight Inn in Nashvill,TN. I’ll be back.
John was at the front desk when we arrived and when we left, and his customer service was stellar. He was an awesome guy and got us set up with everything we needed. The location worked perfectly for what we wanted to do in Nashville. Our room was clean and comfortable, with no signs of bedbugs, and was right for the price. We slept well, keeping in mind that city stays come with some car noise. We didn’t use the shower, but the bathroom and towels were clean. The complimentary breakfast was about as good as hotel breakfasts get. Thanks for having us!
The front desk staff were very nice, and the price was decent for what you get. Room 112 had comfortable beds, but the toilet leaked onto the bathroom floor and the tub drained poorly. The gym has no windows, though there’s enough space to work out if you’re creative. The WiFi barely worked, which might be a good thing if you’re the sort who can look on the bright side and leave work behind. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the city center if you’re not in a hurry, or an Uber was only $7.
The neighborhood felt a bit sketchy, which had me concerned as a solo woman traveler, but the parking lot was very well lit and the night ended up safe and uneventful. The hotel is close to downtown, and the staff were kind. For the price, it’s quite nice. The rooms have been newly remodeled and were very clean and modern, with hot water and good pressure.
