Loews Nashville Hotel at Vanderbilt Plaza

We needed a place to stay at very short notice while in a tough situation, and Joy worked hard to arrange everything. She was patient, understanding, and kind, making thoughtful accommodations and advocating for us when she didn’t have to. Her compassion and professionalism made a stressful time manageable. I had a wonderful experience at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel thanks to Joy. She clearly cares about guests and takes pride in her work. She’s a huge asset to the hotel, and if you stay here, you’re in great hands.

Our group held a meeting here, and I was impressed by the service, staff, catered food, and how comfortable the bed was. The hotel is undergoing major renovations, but they did what they could to keep things running smoothly. Several staff members were genuinely friendly while making drinks at the bar or helping serve the buffet. Also, the elevator music is the best, second only to Hard Rock Hotel!

Jaime from Louisiana, the concierge, treated us like royalty from check-in to checkout. We had an amazing staycation without the kids, and got an upgrade to the club level. Those rooms are newly renovated and feel modern and brand new. The bed was heavenly, and we slept like babies. Parents, you know that’s a luxury! We enjoyed drinks at the bar, and they were delicious. We also had breakfast each morning at the mason. Roger, the server, was the kindest gentleman. Apparently he’s worked there for 27 years. What a special gem in my city. I’ll be back for more staycations.

The room was warm and comfortable on a cold winter night, and the newly renovated spaces on the 10th and 11th floor club level look beautiful and modern. The lighting is excellent, and the bathroom and shower are spacious. I got an upgrade to a high-floor Club Level room, and there was no construction noise during my stay, even though work was underway in the lobby. The door was opened for me when I entered, and someone offered to help with my luggage. Kenyan, the manager, welcomed and checked me in. I checked in late at night for a convention at Gaylord Opryland, about eight miles away. I wanted to be close to downtown, and the ride each way was only 15 minutes. The hotel car can take you around nearby areas, so ask for that instead of using Uber. Broadway is a five-minute Uber ride away, and there are plenty of good coffee shops and restaurants around the hotel or downtown.
