We couldn't get into the building with the instructions we were given, so we had to keep waiting for someone to let us in. Then, right after check-in, we found there was no water in the room. Nobody had warned us. I contacted the building and learned a pipe had burst. The room was dirty too. The shower floor was badly chipped, the walls were marked up, and the couch had disgusting stains. I wish I could attach photos. The only good thing was the location. I chose this place because it showed a pool, and when I called, someone said it was open year-round. There is no pool at all. Putting pool photos on the website when there isn't one is extremely frustrating and false advertising. For what we paid, the whole stay was a huge disappointment. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

Having your own apartment in Nashville was great. The place was very clean and tidy, with easy access. The location was excellent, and the common room, gym, and rooftop views were nice extras.

Mint House rents rooms on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex, so this isn't really a hotel. If you do book here, I'd avoid going through a third party like Expedia, Chase, or Booking.com. Personally, I wouldn't recommend staying here. They were supposed to email a long set of entry instructions after booking, but I never got them. My reservation also had the wrong phone number, with a Chase number listed instead of mine. After a long day of travel, trying to find the front door, work out entry, and download the app at night in a fairly busy area was frustrating. There was no staff on site to help.

The room turned out fantastic, apart from the shower floor, which could use some work. Getting in is a little confusing at first, but once you've done it, it's easy. I was getting pretty worried after reading the reviews, but I'm glad I picked this place for my Nashville trip.

The room itself had a bad shower tile, much like the one in another review, and the heater and air conditioner were so loud that sleeping was difficult. Getting into the building was a problem too. Customer service didn't help when I called, but luckily some building staff, who aren't part of the rental, were there and got me in. They said the apartment had a key fob that would open the doors, and mentioned that they get complaints from renters all the time. A rental representative called after speaking with them and gave me wrong information, saying the fob only worked for the fitness center. I'd avoid this place if you can. The reservation was a mess from the start. There's no on-site staff, and calls to customer service went to voicemail. The voicemail said to text for help, but my text got no response. When I finally reached someone, it took 50 minutes to sort things out. I got into the apartment after spending three hours in Nashville.
