Nashville Downtown Hostel

I’d never stayed in a hostel before, but this was a great first try. Our eight-woman dorm room had its own shower and restroom, and private rooms are available too. Most of the other guests were out, so it worked well for us. I felt safe the whole time, especially with the key needed to enter the building, use the elevator, and get into the room. The price was good, the staff were nice, and everything was clean. Softer towels might be nice, but I have no other complaints. It’s an easy walk to everything happening nearby, and I’ll definitely come back.

Broadway is only a three-minute walk away, and the atmosphere here is lovely, with friendly staff. The communal space was a highlight, especially the instruments and games. My bedroom was clean and roomy, though not having an outlet near my bed was a little annoying. The bathrooms were spacious and well cared for, and I appreciated being able to use the downstairs ones when we arrived early and couldn’t check in yet. I had a wonderful stay and would return.

The layout and relaxed feel were great, and I met some lovely people here. On a really hot day, hanging out indoors with others and having drinks was a welcome break from the heat. The room itself was plain and simple, and you might end up with a few odd roommates, but that was fine by me. Staff were polite and nice, and the place felt safe and well located.

The first-floor common space felt homey, with a kitchen, raised stage and piano area, pool table, and more. Everything was very clean, the bathrooms were kept up well, and the staff were helpful. The rooms are basic but perfectly fine, and the air conditioning was much appreciated during September’s heat wave. This is an attractively renovated old factory, with exposed brick and a loft-like feel, across from a waterfront park on the Cumberland River. It’s in downtown Nashville and within walking distance of attractions, entertainment venues, and Music City Central bus station. A well-run place with economical rooms at a good price. I’d recommend it.
