We had a wonderful stay at Stay Premier Sobro, and Alicia deserves special thanks for going out of her way to make everything right. The staff were warm and friendly from the moment we arrived, and they helped us check in a day early, which made the trip much less stressful. The room was clean, modern, spacious, and comfortable. With so much within walking distance, it was easy to see Nashville without needing a ride. We'd happily return.

We booked on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice sized living room, a comfortable bedroom, a balcony, and a full kitchen, though we only used the fridge. Our fourth-floor view was just okay, but we liked having the balcony. Check-in was easy, and the front desk team was great. Alicia helped us with packages I'd ordered before we arrived. Being one block from Broadway and close to the Country Music Hall of Fame was perfect for us. We could walk everywhere, which mattered a lot. We'll definitely stay here again when we're back in Nashville.

The best thing about the Placemkr Nashville was its short walk to Broadway. Beyond that, the stay was frustrating and dirty. I booked through VRBO and contacted the property for over a month with questions, but never got a response. I went ahead with the reservation anyway, and that was a big mistake. The units are advertised as fully equipped, but ours was missing basic things like a frying pan, coffee maker, and toilet paper. We had to keep riding the elevator down to the lobby to ask for items, and to get instructions for the TV. There were no instructions in the app or emails, and the directions only arrived after we had checked out. The unit had no TV in the bedroom, the living-room remote was filthy, and cords had caked-on grime and fuzz growing on them. There was no ice either. We were told it would take almost 48 hours to make, and the front desk suggested buying some at a Dollar store. The hot tub outside looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for months, maybe a year. It wasn't salt water, and there wasn't even a chlorine smell. The building also has no separate service elevator, so guests share with maintenance and housekeeping. One ride had a dirty, smelly toilet plunger dripping on the elevator, and on another, a huge bin of dirty laundry surrounded us so tightly we couldn't move. The units are partly occupied by full-time residents, including people with dogs, across all floors, while the rest are short-term rentals like VRBO. Check-in itself was easy, except they made us leave a driver's license to borrow a luggage cart, which was ridiculous. We also had to wait for the elevator and go to the lobby every time we needed something. The lack of cleanliness was gross. I'd be better off in a hotel, where even the parking is cheaper. I would never stay here again.

Our room and the property were beautiful, and the city and Broadway view was amazing. The front desk attendant was sweet, welcoming, and very helpful. The location is great, only about a block and a half from Broadway.

My room felt run down, with black and brown hairs everywhere, dust clumps in the corners, broken closet doors, questionable stains, and a burn hole in the sofa. I raised these problems and got only an apology email that was clearly written by AI. I won't stay here again. The Wi-Fi wasn't fast or reliable enough for my work trip, so I couldn't work. The room's smart TVs also need a high-speed connection, which wasn't available. I managed to get through a three-part documentary over my three-day stay. There was a nice charging station, so I spent most of my downtime off Wi-Fi and on my phone. I also couldn't get a proper hot shower. Warm water lasted about 10 minutes before going cold. After my home had been wrecked by a tornado the month before, leaving me without power, gas, or hot water, I was really looking forward to a hot shower. At $200 a night, I expected one. If I'd known bathing would be timed, I'd have stayed somewhere else. The only drinking water was from the kitchen tap, and it tasted like a pool. I'm usually fine with tap water, but here I had to buy bottles to drink without gagging. The room's one wall was all windows, with broken vinyl blinds that did little to block light. Turn them up, and people in lower neighboring buildings could see in; turn them down, and people on higher floors could see in. The bathroom wasn't attached to the bedroom, so I had to carry my clothes to it for my one shower because I felt uncomfortable walking through the room nude. The glass bedroom door faced the windows, and there was no way to block the light to sleep in this busy, lit downtown area. The check-in details and door code were sent to the wrong guest, a man. When I explained I had made my own reservation, the front desk treated me as if I didn't know who booked it. Their only fix was moving me to the same room one floor higher, and the code changed by just one digit because of the floor. The original guest could easily have gone up one floor and entered my room. Staff didn't seem to see a security problem, didn't apologize for putting me at risk, and didn't seem to care. It felt like they didn't understand their booking system and were trying to put the blame on me.
