The building is old, the rooms are small and need upgrades, the shower curtains stink, and the surroundings feel unsafe. They charged for the room safe even though I didn’t use it. At weekend rates, it’s not worth the price.

The location was great, and I liked that my dog stayed free. If they could get the cleaning right, this wouldn’t be a bad place at all, but it seemed like they only changed the sheets. Check-in was easy, but the floors were very dirty and sticky, and there was hair all over the tub. I cleaned the tub myself, which wasn’t a huge deal to me at this kind of hotel. The sheets seemed clean. Still, the mattress topper was so nasty that I went to Walmart and bought an air mattress. I don’t mind cleaning a room or even the floors myself, but the sheets, topper, and mattress protector need to be removed and cleaned often. There were condoms by the trashcan when I arrived Sunday, and they were still there when I left Tuesday morning.

I travel alone often, and this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time. I was so shocked by the first room that I didn’t take pictures. The bed was unmade, food boxes were scattered around, and glasses were everywhere. It hadn’t been cleaned at all. When I went back to the office, they gave me another room that was clean and looked like the photos, but they didn’t offer a free stay or even a discount. There was an open suitcase and food boxes in the parking lot, along with a distinct smell of “herb.” They offer fly and park, and I’d considered using it, but I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my vehicle there. I can honestly say I won’t stay again.

The location was great, and the rooms were comfortable. The charger plugs on the desk didn’t work, but everything else was nice. My trip had plenty of other issues, so the best part was the woman at the check-in desk. She did everything she could to help me, and I regret not getting her name.
