The AVE

The room was clean, modern, and chic, and The AVE is close to Nashville attractions, restaurants, and downtown. I also appreciated having a fitness center, which most Airbnbs don’t offer, so I could keep up with my workouts while on vacation. I’ll stay here again when I return to Nashville and would recommend The AVE to other visitors.

The new renovations are a nice bonus, and The Ave is a wonderful place to stay in Nashville. It’s close to downtown, and the gym has everything you could need. There’s also a beautiful painting on the outside that makes a great spot for pictures with friends. I’d highly recommend it for a trip to Nashville.

I’m glad I didn’t listen to the Google reviews. I stayed for a reunion and the Beyoncé concert, and this place was close to all the culture in Nashville. Most clubs and bars, including Broadway and Music Row, were a $7-$12 Uber ride away. Walgreens, Family Dollar, a liquor store, convenience store, and bank were all a two-minute walk away. The room looked just like the pictures. Someone complained about the shower, but the rod adjusts and can be pulled down. The bed was so comfortable, you just mold into it, and the kitchen was nice. This is a gem and a great way to save. I’ll book here every time I visit.

The room was cheaper than anywhere else we looked, check-in and checkout were easy, and I got quick email replies when I had questions. It had also been updated to look more modern. But there are 17 rooms and only 10 parking spaces, and the overflow lot is in a pretty shady part of town. The bathroom was tiny. At 5'9, my knees nearly hit the wall when I sat on the toilet. The shower curtain didn’t keep water in, so it got all over the floor, and the shower looked unclean and had at least 10 spiders in it. There’s no mirror over the sink, just one on the adjacent wall, which seemed odd. The front door looked like it had been kicked in before. The gym was basically a storage room and unusable. An Uber to Broadway Street can cost up to $55 plus tip.
