The Chorus

Room 118 was on the ground floor, and we didn’t use the balcony. It had one chair, which seemed like a bonus since the other ground floor units didn’t appear to have any. The area is walkable to German town and around Sounds Stadium, and there’s a nearby bus stop to get to central routes and transfer. The apartment was compact but clean, with what we needed. They supplied shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, dishwasher tablets, and coffee, with refills available in the lobby. Free bag lockers there were handy, though limited in number. It was noisy from the apartment above, but earplugs were provided. A few details could’ve been better: the new curtains still had package creases and seemed the wrong size, leaving gaps at the sides or middle. It was fine overall, and I’d use Sonder again, probably in another location.

We all felt safe here, and I’d happily stay again or try Sonder somewhere else. There was staff available, and when our toilet wouldn’t flush, I messaged through the app and someone replied right away and fixed it quickly. Check-in was easy, and using keypads for everything meant we didn’t have to carry keys. The room was very clean and just as advertised. The bed was really comfortable, though the pullout couch less so, as you might expect. It’s not too far from Broadway in Nashville.

The room had a nice balcony, a big TV, and a studio setup with a kitchen, microwave, and refrigerator. It was clean, as was the modern-looking building. Getting in was easy with the code they sent, which worked for both the main entrance and the room. I could hear people walking overhead through the thin walls. There was some road noise, but none at night. My other issue was mold on the shower head. I cleaned it, and then more water came out. Kroger was closed for renovations during my stay. I stayed Wednesday, April 23 through Sunday.

We had everything we needed, with extras available in the lobby and laundry room. The luggage lockers came in handy before we could get into our room, and I appreciated being able to do a load of laundry for free. The place was very clean, and there was plenty of coffee and a coffee machine. It made for an easy stay on our trip of several days.
