The location is hard to beat, right in Printers Alley and an easy walk to several good restaurants and Broadway. I travel a lot for work and usually bring my own Keurig, but there was one in the room. I had a king room with a balcony, and it was much roomier than a typical king, with lots of storage. Mine was a corner room, so the huge balcony may be larger than most. It's uncovered, but the weather was nice during my stay. The bed was comfortable, though I wish hotels used lighter bedding since down comforters make me sleep too hot. I'm definitely a hotel snob, and this one was awesome: modern, clean, and upscale. I did have a small air conditioner issue, which matters to me because I like a cold room, but I'd still give it five stars.

The Bobby's lobby always has a lovely scent and just the right atmosphere, and the welcome at the door is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable, and the bathrooms are well stocked. Tiffany and the other staff are attentive and give professional, knowledgeable service. Cleaning sometimes happened later in the evening than expected, but asking for fresh towels was never a problem. Thanks to everyone at the Bobby. We already miss you.

CJ from valet greeted us with such kindness when we arrived, and at the end of the week he helped us load the car to go home after our power came back. That care meant so much to us. We spent a week at the Bobby Hotel with our 10-year-old and our dog after the ice storm left our home without heat or power, like so many other families. Every person we dealt with, from the front desk to the café and valet teams, took wonderful care of us. They brought warmth and ease during a stressful time for the whole city, and I appreciate it more than I can say.

The numbers tell you what this is: $264 for 90 minutes in a plastic shelter, while a hotel room costs $248 and gives you somewhere to stay. The $225 minimum spend buys a lukewarm hibiscus drink and a skyline view you can get for free from an overpriced rooftop bar, or from your $500 hotel balcony. Then add a $25 booking fee, $15 valet if the gentlemen running the place grant you a spot, and 20% gratuity for staff smiling while you pay for starlight. The $20 cocktail tasted like watered-down sugar. They call it special, but the polite staff's training apparently doesn't include honesty. And 24 hours' notice is absurd. This isn't an exclusive Nashville experience, it's a tourist trap charging $264 for a tent that costs more than the room. The view is the same skyline you can see from the Bourbon Street bar next door or from the sidewalk. Skip the urban campsite and stay at the hotel, or skip it altogether and pay for actual liquor at a bar. If you insist on an experience, buy a $10 bottle of cheap whiskey and watch the stars from the parking lot. It's a tax on gullibility and an insult to value. Just take the $248 hotel room for better Wi-Fi, hot water, and no reservation fees. At this rate, they'll charge you for the sunrise too. Bless their hearts.

Scott from valet is a legend, and I'd definitely stay here again. The rooms were very clean and nicely appointed, and the hotel itself is super nice. The downstairs bar looked great, though its service was just okay. The rooftop was closed throughout my four-night stay, and on the final night every hotel bar was shut for a private event. That was disappointing, since room service was the only option on site. Nashville has plenty of other places for food and drinks, though.
