TownePlace Suites by Marriott Nashville Downtown/Capitol District

Parking was the one part I didn't like. Ten hours costs $50, so we used valet for $55 a night, but I'd still come back. We plan to stay a few nights over Memorial Day weekend. We usually book Embassy Suites wherever we go, but it was full, and I'm glad I found this place. The rooms were clean and roomy, the bed was so comfortable, and the shower was spacious. Housekeeping and the kitchen staff were great, and room service is available. Breakfast was really good, there's a 24-hour coffee, tea, and water station, and the rooftop bar was fantastic. Avi makes a mean strawberry lemon drop martini and was so friendly. It would be great if the bar stayed open until midnight or 1 a.m., though 11 p.m. isn't terrible.

We've stayed here twice in 2026 for events at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, and both stays were exceptional. The walk to the venue is an easy five minutes, and being able to leave our car at the hotel for the day meant we didn't need the auditorium garage, which was a huge perk. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast has lots of options. I'll definitely stay here again for future events.

I liked having a full kitchen and full-size refrigerator, and the room itself was comfortable. The lobby is on the fifth floor, with a nice restaurant and great city views; the pizza is pretty good. The location is convenient for Uber pickups and drop-offs. The bathroom felt dated and could use remodeling. Marriott no longer provides daily housekeeping, and there's no longer an option to earn reward points for skipping service. That option simply isn't offered. It was a decent, convenient stay, but updates and better housekeeping choices would improve it.

The location worked really well for us, about a six-minute walk to broadway. The hotel was spotless and modern, and breakfast was great. The front desk was helpful, and Carla from valet was especially kind and sweet. I never had to wait long for my car. I'd highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Nashville.
