Days Inn by Wyndham Natchez

I’m here for work and will probably have to stay again soon. My boss is covering the cost, because otherwise I wouldn’t go near this place. In my first room, nearly every wall had blood and other bodily fluids on it, and the bathroom and counters were nowhere near clean. I only lasted a couple of nights there. The next room was much cleaner, though the shower and toilet seat, along with the counters, were still dirty, just not as badly. At least there weren’t those strange glossy streaks on the walls. My most recent room had a serious bug problem, with bedbugs and roaches. If the next stay isn’t better, I’ll have to tell my boss he may lose the reservation money. They don’t give refunds and won’t discuss it. Book at your own risk.

We stayed here on the way to our destination and came back on our trip home. It’s an older place, but very clean, and the breakfast and light dinner included with the stay made it a good value. We’ll add it to future trips.

We paid $150 a night and ended up in rooms I wouldn’t consider fit to stay in. In the first one, we saw three big roaches right away, and the dogs barking next door made it impossible to have a conversation. They moved us a few doors down. We didn’t spot roaches out in the open there, though I’m sure they were somewhere. That room was even more disgusting: old, ripped carpet covered in stains. The online photos are incredibly misleading, and after taking our money they refused to refund it. This place ought to be investigated by the Health Department and shut down. I wouldn’t let my family stay here. If you love yours, you wouldn’t either. Nothing but thieves!

The staff were great, but the photos give a very misleading impression. My room smelled like weed and just plain nasty, and the shower was cracked with a really bad repair job. The stay felt sketchy overall. It reminded me of a terrible landlord special. Stay at your own risk. ⚠️
