We were there on New Year's Eve, and the room was in poor shape. The carpet was worn, the room looked terrible, and there was no shower curtain, so water ended up all over the floor. The hallway was dim because lights weren't working, and we ran out of toilet paper in the middle of the night. People were still making noise after midnight. There weren't many guests, so they could have put us in a room on the back side instead of facing the highway. There was nothing for breakfast either. Now I understand why the motel was empty.

The staff were kind and did what they could to help, but there’s only so much the desk workers can do about the condition of this hotel. One of our two reserved rooms had clearly been smoked in. The carpets were stained and disgusting enough that we wouldn't walk on them without shoes, and there were rusty lamps, dead light bulbs, and a broken exhaust fan. Pictures were coming off the walls and the curtains were barely attached. On one of the days, the promised “light breakfast” turned out to mean no breakfast at all. The DirecTV receiver was mounted behind the entertainment center, so changing channels meant standing beside the TV. This wasn’t what we expected, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Wish I could post pictures.

The people were nice and the location is good, but that’s about all I can say in its favor. The cheap carpet was so stained that I wouldn't walk on it barefoot or in socks. There were bugs in the room, the bedspreads were awful, the closet mirror door was broken, and there was no tissue, though they did give us a roll. The elevator floor was hazardous, with cracks and missing tiles. I wouldn't want to wear heels in there. This hotel really needs work.

This was the worst hotel experience we've ever had. We booked months ahead, but check-in took almost an hour, and they didn't have the king bed we reserved. We turned down a smaller bed, and they eventually “found one.” When we got to that room, a guest was already inside. Thankfully he wasn't angry, or my husband might have been hurt. We went back to the lobby and got another room. It was clean and the air conditioning was cold, so things seemed acceptable apart from having only one towel. Then we tried to settle in for the night and found no batteries in the remote and the cable completely unplugged. Strange. The next morning there was no coffee and only a few pastries for “breakfast.” That doesn't count as breakfast. The whole process was chaos, and the clerks seemed clueless. We’ll never stay here again. Save yourself the trouble and spend a few dollars more for a better experience.
