Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Natchitoches

We really enjoyed our stay at the Econo Lodge. Room 206 was roomy and clean, with a comfortable bed, a mini-fridge that kept our water very cold, and great shower pressure. The shower head was high enough that a very tall person wouldn't hit their head. Our key card worked flawlessly every time, both at the room and building entrances, without needing a second or third swipe. The staff were friendly and helped us promptly at check-in and check-out. We told the clerk at checkout how clean the room was and how pleasant it smelled. The hotel is just west of the I-49 exit, 11 minutes from Natchitoches and away from the Christmas Festival, City of Lights traffic. Those lights were still on display January 1-2, 2026, when we visited. There are a couple of places to eat across the street. Breakfast isn't a big deal to us since we usually just have coffee, and we thought the coffee was delicious. We checked out the rest of the food too: the eggs were patties and the sausage was greasy, neither appealed to us. The apples and oranges were fresh, and my wife liked the yogurt. It's an economy hotel, and we were there to sleep and shower, not for extra perks like you'd get at a finer hotel. I'd recommend staying here.
