Budget Inn Natick

The room was very clean, with new flooring and furniture. The heat worked well and the WiFi was good, though the thermostat read the wrong temperature. At a good price, it was a bit below par overall. This is an older cinder-block strip motel, with every room entered from outside. The exterior looked very worn, including crumbling cement on the overhead walkway. Inside, the walls were aged and some paint was peeling. There were no cups, and even the tissue dispenser’s box was missing. We got six inches of snow overnight, and the lot’s policy is not to plow it.

Donna at the front desk was ridiculously rude. I called about six different times to get help with my complaint, and each time she talked over me, refused to let me speak with anyone else, and hung up. I’ll never stay here again, and I’d tell people to avoid the place. Everything was horrible, from the service to the rooms. I’ve stayed at a lot of motels, and this was by far the worst. The heat didn’t work, the cleaning was half fast, and the place was literally like Bates Motel.

It was an inexpensive, convenient place with the basics we needed. The bathroom door was so close to the toilet that it bumped it every time we opened it.

It’s a decent hotel for the price, with the basics you need for a day. The front desk staff were friendly and got us checked in quickly. The location was great.
