We came for a quilt retreat, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Our room had just been refurbished and felt cozy, with a memory foam bed that was great to sleep on. They were fixing things up since it was off season, but still took time to answer all our questions so pleasantly. I'd stay again.

We were told the Manor house had the newer rooms, but the bathroom was difficult and felt unsafe to use. The tub had a high side and no grab bars, which made getting in and out of the shower scary. There were no hooks or towel bars, and the towels were small and very thin. The bathroom door wouldn't stay open, so we had to prop it with the garbage can against the toilet, and even then it took a shove to close. The toilet had no lid, which made us worry about dropping something in it. The room itself was large, but the beds were hard.

Jen at the front desk was always so nice. She helped us get a rollaway bed and guided us to the shelter when the alarms went off. I really appreciated her help.

We liked the artwork on the walls, and the hotel itself was nice. Our three bedroom room was a good size for the price, with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. We did miss having a tub because our younger kids don't like showers. The beds were rock hard and didn't give at all when you sat down, and the ice machine wasn't working.

For our group, the eight bunk beds gave the young people enough room, and we could use the restaurant space after our catered meals to plan and regroup. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the front desk was staffed around the clock. Room prices were reasonable, too. We could walk to the Temple in 12-15 minutes and to the Church historic sites in 15-20 minutes. I'd recommend this place, especially for large groups. We were so happy with the hotel, management, and staff that five stars don't seem like enough, I'd give it six or seven.
