Inn At Summerwind 701

The views from the 11th floor were great, and the beach was just right. We spent a week at Summerwind with no crowds and found it incredibly relaxing. The condos are excellent. It was the best vacation we’ve had in years, and we’ll be back soon.

The people were friendly, the staff was nice, and everything was clean. We had a great experience at Summerwind, with beautiful views and no complaints.

We’ve stayed at Summerwind three times, and it’s always enjoyable. The shop was a hit with my kids, who got smoothies and icees by the pool every day. The pools never got too crowded, and the common areas were clean. It’s a short walk to the beach, the chair service is convenient, and we’ve never had to wait long for an elevator. We also love being right next to the pier and pier restaurant.

The property is beautiful and the location is great, but our experience with security has put us off staying here again. On checkout day, our group of 14 females, including 12 young teens, was allowed to cross the boardwalk to the beach without wristbands. Hours later, we were stopped from crossing back just to reach our car and head home. The security guard arrogantly asked if we wanted to use the amenities without paying. I explained we only needed to get to our car, and he compared it to expecting to reboard a cruise ship for free after the trip was over. If the boardwalk counts as an amenity, they should apply that rule consistently instead of letting us cross to the beach and then leaving us stranded. While we stood there trying to work out what to do, the guard took pictures of us and the 12 teens in their swimsuits. We won’t stay here again and deal with that harassment.
