Best Motel

There were roaches, mice, and bed bugs in the room, with dust on the bed frame and hair and what looked like human stains on the sheets. I couldn't assume the sheets had been washed, even during Covid times. I only noticed the no-refunds sign too late, since you don't go through an actual lobby. She refused to refund me, so she can deal with the credit card company. This wasn't a reasonably safe place to stay.

The bed was clean, but the rest of the room wasn't much cleaner. It smelled of smoke, the shower ceiling was broken, and only half the lights worked, so the room was dark. Definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The room smelled awful, the bathroom was disgusting, and the towels had light brown stains. My room was beside the owners' place, and I woke at 7:00AM to them arguing and cussing. They were fighting again when I woke up on the second night. The doors don't even shut all the way. Nasty place, and I wouldn't come back.

The bed was comfortable, which is why I wouldn't give the place just one star. I did have to pick crumbs off it before lying down, though. The heater looked like it was from the 1980s but worked great. There was a water main break overnight, and luckily I'd showered beforehand, so I feel for anyone who needed one in the morning. The TV didn't work, but for $50, what do you expect? I'm not fussy about where I sleep, but wanted to leave a review for others.
