The peaceful grounds are so thoughtfully laid out, and there’s a sandy beach down at the bottom of Hummingbird Hill. We spent time there just taking in the quiet beauty. Breakfast was delicious, with a view over the lake, trees, mountains, and Chet’s own 6 hole golf course. Our room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and the view was magnificent. Chet is a gracious host who’s happy to tell you about the antique farmhouse if you’re interested, or leave you to yourself if you’d rather. Hummingbird Hill B&B is beautiful and enchanting. We highly recommend it and will be back.

We came for a surprise anniversary getaway from my husband, and I’m so grateful we got to spend time here and meet Dee and Chet. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. The pond makes a lovely place to unwind in the evening from the terrace, with dragonflies dancing across the sky. During the day, hummingbirds dart around the grounds, and down by the clean, serene water we could take a pontoon ride, try a canoe or kayak, or go for a swim. There are also two roomy hammocks and a garden for simply relaxing. The farmhouse has plenty of character, with treasures and artifacts that all seem to have stories. We learned it was once part of the Underground Railroad. Our bedroom was charming and comfortable, with a private bath, WiFi, and television. There’s an inviting living room with a big sofa and flatscreen, plus a cozy breakfast room. “Chef” Chet made delicious meals each morning, and we liked sitting in the eclectic kitchen over coffee and stories. Dee and Chet made us feel at ease right away. They’re warm, friendly, and gracious hosts. We’d highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

The owners were amazing people, and this was absolutely phenomenal. Best b&b I’ve ever stayed at.

A nice traditional place to stay, with a big garden and a beach by the lake. Bring your voice or a guitar, the owner has a sound studio!

The food was out of this world, and the innkeeper was lovely and gracious. Beautiful location, fabulous experience.
