There’s a gas station and fast food within walking distance, and the location worked well for me. I’d give this place a solid four and would probably come back. The price is fair for an overnight stay, and it may be the nicest Motel 6 I’ve seen. I used to stay at Motel 6 often but had drifted away from them. The owner was helpful and kind, and set up a separate network for my Xbox so I could stream Netflix and game. The signal itself was good, but my console never brought up the authentication page. The room was mostly clean, though there was dust behind the TV, the floors needed a better cleaning, and one of my two towels had stains. It’s updated, everything worked, and the bedding seemed new and was comfortable.

My two little dogs were welcome, and the front desk staff were really warm and nice. The room was quiet all night and felt safe and clean. It was easy to find just off the interstate. I had a new, large TV, microwave, and mini fridge with a small freezer, which let me keep things in my cooler cold and refreeze my ice packs. I’d stay here again.

The shower water never got hot enough for me, but for this town it was the best budget hotel overall. The staff were super nice, and I met three of them. I stayed two nights, checking out after the first, then had to come back that same day because my load wasn’t ready to move. They gave me the same room, and it had been cleaned even though I’m sure I’d left my hair everywhere. When I first arrived, the room was clean except for crickets. There were crickets outside on the sidewalks too, so they may have come in while the room was being cleaned.

The staff were nice, but the bathroom was worrying: there were several pubic hairs in the tub and the toilet seat was really dirty. It made me wonder what else hadn’t been cleaned. The room was 83 degrees when I walked in, which was awful, and the bed was rock hard. I think mom-and-pop places are much better, and I may be done with chains.

The location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean. Parking was especially handy, with a big area for a pickup and trailer.
