Inverness S Comal River Ic216 2 Bedroom Condo by RedAwning

The float takes about 45 minutes, give or take. We got out at the last public exit and walked past Schlitterbahn for a short trip back to the condo. Having direct access to the Comal River is a big part of why we love staying here.

We like staying in unit A313, which is updated, as is the building. There’s a large deck with patio furniture looking out over the Comal river, plus a big stretch of waterfront with a pool, hot tubs, and lounge chairs. Schlitterbaun is across the street, and the town square is within walking distance or a short drive. Best condo property in New Braunfels, hands down!

The river setup is what would bring me back. You can get out of your Comal float here, grab lunch, refill the cooler, and sit at the grills or picnic tables. People were friendly and up for good conversation by the river in the evening. The beds, though, were awful, like plywood, and the shower kept dripping and wouldn’t shut off. It was convenient and did the job, and I’d stay again.

Gina was an amazing host, and the condo was perfect, with direct river access and a private pool. We could see the river from our condo. We were there exactly a week after the Comal flooded, and it looked beautiful. Thanks to everyone who helped with the cleanup. Already looking forward to next summer.
