The morning view was pretty, and the house was adequate, but it wasn't worth the $3,600 weekend price. The photos were misleading, the furniture was outdated, and the house felt like a lot of add-ons rather than an upgraded place. The living room couch took up a lot of space and leaned because its front leg was broken. Two guests stubbed their toes on the corner at the back of it near the stairs. I booked so my mom could get to the river, but make sure you can manage steep stairs going down and back up. She couldn't, so I had to go up the street to tube instead. The game room area where guests can sleep has no bathroom, so you have to walk through a bedroom to reach one. The air conditioning is controlled in only two areas, not in each room, and some rooms don't have TVs. The upstairs toilet handle is very difficult to use. I expected a lot better.

The river is fantastic, and the place is close to town. There's lots to do, and it can comfortably fit a big group.

The riverfront setting has an amazing view and is family friendly. Another one or two bathrooms would make it even better.

There is a ton of outdoor space, and the accommodations are spacious and right along the river.
