SpringHill Suites by Marriott Quakertown

We chose Springhill Suites by Marriott Quakertown for five nights while my mother was in a nearby hospice facility. There were several hotels in the area, and as a lifetime titanium member we decided to stay here. I’m glad we did. The room was clean, the staff were great, and breakfast was good and plentiful, with a waffle maker. My mother passed away, and in all the activity we left our laptop in the room at checkout. Michael and the staff were great about mailing it back to our home in a remote part of Virginia. I’d gladly stay again, hopefully under better circumstances.

We’ve been coming back for three years in a row to visit our son in Pennsylvania, and we always book the king room. It’s split into two areas, with a couch and small fridge in one and the bed and bathroom in the other. The hotel is conveniently just off the Pennsylvania turnpike at the Quakertown exit.

I stayed for a wedding, and the hotel was perfectly located near the venue. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and spacious.

We paid for the room, but left within an hour. The shower only had cold water, and the whole room was dirty. The couch was so filthy I was afraid to put my [unclear] on it. I’d have to be paid to stay at another Marriott just to get my money back. Don’t tell me you’re sorry about the experience. It doesn’t have to be this dirty. The woman at the front desk was nice and seemed shocked that we left, so maybe they’re used to the dirt.
