Best Western Plus New Caney Inn - Suites

The room was great and I slept comfortably, but I couldn't get online at all. They gave me a login at check-in, but the WiFi simply didn't work, and none of the workarounds I tried helped. I asked the staff about it, but it didn't seem like anyone contacted maintenance or tried to troubleshoot. I still have a few days before checkout and am already thinking about finding somewhere else. If you don't need WiFi, this may be fine, but I need it for work, so I can't recommend staying here for online business.

My mom had a lovely two-night stay and is already hoping to come back. The room was spacious, spotless, and well equipped, with a really clear TV picture. Huge thanks to the gentleman on the night shift with the lovely gray hair. After 10 PM, he went out of his way to help my mom get to her room safely and comfortably. His kindness and professionalism made us feel as if we were in a five-star hotel. I'm sorry I forgot your name, sir, but we won't forget how well you treated us.

We came down for a father-son birthday trip, and the stay was really upsetting. The website showed $74 a night, but we ended up paying over $130. We were moved twice because the sheets were wet. In the last room, they were still wet, as if they hadn't dried long enough, and the carpet was damp throughout. The room smelled awful, and no matter how we adjusted the AC, it stayed around 64 degrees, so cold that my son couldn't sleep comfortably. There was also a leak around the bathtub, leaving water all over the bathroom floor after we showered. This wasn't what we had hoped for.

The sheets were great, there were lots of pillows, and the room was clean. My TV didn't work, so they moved me to another room without any fuss.
