Hampton Inn & Suites New Castle

Kamar at the front desk made this one of my best stays. From the moment I arrived, he was kind and helpful, and each time I came through the door he welcomed me with a cheerful hello. He'd ask, “Are you good?” and took a real interest in making sure I was okay. He checked in often without being overbearing, and his attention and encouragement made me feel valued and supported throughout. He even hooked me up at breakfast. Kamar's kindness and professionalism brought such positive energy to the place, and made the whole visit stand out.

The room was decently clean, but watch your bank statements. I prepaid for my husband's room a week ahead, and the payment was taken then. When he checked in, they charged him again along with a deposit. After checkout, $700 was returned, but this morning another charge came out. I'm calling corporate because this is ridiculous. Either fix the system or warn guests that they may be charged more than once. I've never had this happen at other Hampton or Hilton properties. Paying in full ahead of time shouldn't mean being charged twice, let alone three times.

The tub in our room wasn't clean, and the elevator made some nerve-wracking noises. The service was great, though. The woman running breakfast was wonderful, and the food was good and fresh.

I stayed here with students for a conference and had a phenomenal visit. The rooms were new and clean, the location was great, and the staff were caring and kind. Thanks for all your help, especially Kamar, Ingrid, and Meg. I highly recommend this hotel.
