Days Inn New Florence

Construction is my full-time job, and I was traveling for work with few hotel choices. I checked in Sunday night, and on Monday night, as I was going to bed, I spotted a bedbug. I caught it in a cup and took it to the front desk. They moved me to another room right away, at 11 p.m., even though I had to work in the morning. The man who helped me was new and said the manager would speak with me the next day. After a full ten-hour day working in the sun, I asked for a full refund and said I was leaving for another hotel. He said he could only refund one night. I explained I'd also stayed in the same room the week before, but still wasn't offered a full refund. The parking lot was full, apparently with people working on I-70, and I pointed out that I could tell the other guests what had happened. He said, “ma’am now you’re threatening me and it’s on camera.” I replied, “I didn’t threaten you I pointed out that you’re aren’t even giving me a full refund when I could be starting a whole riot in here! This is my lively hood. My health.” He made a call and was then able to refund two nights. I wouldn't have left a bad review if I'd gotten my money back.

After a long drive, I got in late and needed somewhere safe, clean, and comfortable. I got all three without any trouble. The log-cabin-style furniture was a nice extra, and the beds were solid. I'd book here again.

Breakfast was available, and the place was clean and tidy. There's a McDonald’s within walking distance too. After a 12-hour drive, the comfortable beds made this a perfect stop. We'd stay again on a long road trip.

I travel for work from time to time, and this knights Inn is probably one of the best I've stayed at. The staff were friendly and respectful, the lounge was great, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds and good guest amenities. Breakfast was simple but good. I wish every nights inn, motel 6, hotel 8, and red roof inn were like this. Keep up the good work for over-the-road drivers who need to get out of their truck now and then and stay within budget.
