My wife and I both thought the burger was one of the best we’ve ever had. It looked simple, but the flavors were great. We also got the garlic parm wings as a starter. There were five pieces with garlic Parmesan Alfredo sauce, which I enjoyed. Some sauce was left over, though, and bread or toast to soak it up would’ve been nice. I’d been wanting to try this place for about a year, and the tavern’s old charm and outstanding food lived up to the wait. I’d suggest lighting the fireplace if it’s still usable, since that would make a cold winter evening feel cozy. Give it a try if you’re nearby. Seems like a good spot for date night or a family dinner.
