We slept comfortably, and I liked the Fellow coffee gadgets. The place was clean and spacious, with a very central location, though the apartment felt a little dated and the artwork seemed random. On most nights, we heard very loud noise from upstairs around 2 a.m. on weeknights. We felt fairly safe walking at night, and parked out front for free without any trouble.

I really like living here. I feel safe, can walk to everything I love, and having parking is amazing.

I booked a whole week while in New Orleans for a work conference, but left halfway through because I couldn’t take this place anymore. Mice were in both the room I’d booked and the one they moved me to, so I had to pack and unpack everything twice. Then the hot water was out in the morning and I had a freezing shower. This was the worst travel experience I’ve ever had, and the hotel was so disgusting that I cut my stay short.

The street noise made it hard to sleep. Our room had paper-thin windows, and from midnight to 3 a.m. we could hear everything in the Warehouse district, from people sneezing to actual warehouse activity. The building itself is beautiful, secure, and comfortable, in a great spot within walking distance of both the French Quarter and the Tram system for the Garden District. It’s tucked away from the craziness but still close when you want it.
