Joey was a wonderful host, happy to share what he knows about New Orleans, Algiers Point, and the surrounding areas. We'll definitely return. The bed and breakfast is a historic, charming place with Louisiana character, in a quiet, quaint town. It's in Algiers Point, within walking distance of coffee shops, dining, and the ferry across the Mississippi to New Orleans. If you're after modern accommodations, this probably isn't the place for you. But for old-world charm and local history, it's a lovely fit.

Don't come here! The only thing this place has going for it is the location. I'm disgusted. None of the beds were made, and it looked like someone was living there. There was an injection on the floor, dirty laundry in the washing room, and a filthy bathtub. We arrived at night tired and ready to relax, only to find this mess. We ended up going somewhere else. We need a full refund for this awful place.

We’re here waiting to get inside, and the place is dirty. The towels and beds are dirty too. We were meant to check in at 1 today, and I’ve been trying to reach the host since 1:15 with no response. I’m really upset. We only have until Tuesday morning, and we wanted to do some sightseeing today and tomorrow with our small dog. I’m NOT HAPPY!!!
