The people here made the stay. Ella welcomed me at check-in with such a warm smile, and her kindness and professionalism set a great tone. Candy was cheerful, quick to help, and took time to answer all our questions. Bri made evenings special with impressive cocktails and friendly conversation that made the bar feel homey. Lakelle brought the same attentive, upbeat service to our mornings and always checked that we had what we needed. The hotel felt clean, inviting, and full of good energy from the moment we arrived. Every staff member treated us like valued guests, and their teamwork really showed. I can’t wait to come back and see Ella, Candy, Bri, and Lakelle again. Highly recommend it if you value warm, thoughtful service.

We loved having the lobby bar for a nightcap, and the staff made a real effort to welcome us. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, with lots of attention to detail. Hotel Tonnelle is a real find on St. Charles, with fresh modern decor inspired by the Garden District. A stylish, comfortable base for a New Orleans visit.

The biggest drawback for me was the missing refrigerator. I really needed one, especially in a foodie city where I wanted to bring leftovers back. The hotel is around a 25-minute walk from downtown and the French Quarter, which is manageable, though I didn't always feel like walking that far, and Ubers can get pricey. Aside from that, I had a really good stay in New Orleans. It's a cute boutique hotel with clean, comfortable rooms, and the friendly staff made check-in and check-out easy. I didn't get to try the food there, but it's a solid choice for a pleasant boutique stay.

I was there on a tour to see a room block for a conference, so I didn't stay overnight and can't speak to the service. The hotel is small, but full of character. It's charming and has been renovated beautifully. I especially liked the pleasant lobby.
