My buddy and I came for Mardi Gras and picked Jack's motel because it fit my budget and was reasonably close to the French Quarter by bus or Uber. I was surprised by how spacious the room was and how much it had. There was even a stove and a huge sink in case I wanted to cook a whole meal, plus two air conditioners, one on each side. The owner was very cool, helpful, and knew the area well when I needed directions. I felt like I got much more than I paid for, and I'd definitely stay again.

The people here are welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are clean. They really seem to care about the property and the service they give. There's a vending machine for drinks and another for snacks. It feels like a safe, gated, comfortable community, and I'd recommend it to families, solo travelers, or anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

I had to book a night here because the hotel I'd originally booked wasn't available that day 😞. The place gave me 48-hour Kill Thy Neighbor vibes, and I definitely wasn't sleeping on those sheets. I had to go buy new ones.
