New Orleans Courtyard Hotel and Suites by the French Quarter

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we'd stay again. The French Quarter is an easy walk from here. For food and drinks, Key 🔑 gas station is a three-minute walk from the room and has great Sammy’s, gyros, beer, and wine. We booked in January for Jazzfest and got a reasonably priced room with hardwood floors and brick walls. The beds were comfortable, the TV was small, the shower was hot, and the room had nice cold A/C. There was no mini fridge or microwave, but coffee was available in the office lounge at 700am. From the ground-floor courtyard, you could hear the street a bit during the day.

The people really made this stay for me. The employees are so kind and clearly take pride in their work. It was my first time here, and I loved the comfortable rooms, the charming feel, and the laid-back vibe. I’d definitely come back.

They moved me to a different room quickly when the AC wasn’t working. From check-in through check-out, the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. The clean, cute rooms felt relaxing, and the lobby had a gorgeous old-fashioned, fancy feel. A mini-fridge and a drawer for clothes would be nice additions.

We came to New Orleans for a milestone birthday, and the location made getting around easy. The trolley is accessible nearby, everything is an easy walk, and there’s gated parking. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The downside was the noise. We were right by a busy street, and with no sound barrier we could hear conversations from people passing and all the traffic, at any time of day. There was no mini-fridge or microwave either. It was a good stay, but if you need a quiet night’s sleep, cold drinks, or a way to heat leftovers, this probably won’t suit you.
