The room looked good, and the bathrooms and facilities were clean. Staff were really helpful. Nick told me about the best music shows, which made for a great time, and Alexandra kindly brought us a space heater and extra blankets so we wouldn’t be cold. There’s great food just around the corner. I loved it here and look forward to coming back to NOLA.

The young staff were full of energy and so friendly, and they were easy to work with. This is the best hostel I’ve stayed in. It’s in a safe neighborhood, right by the streetcar, so getting into the heart of the city is easy, and the price is right. Breakfast with pancakes and waffles is included, the rooms are clean, and they put on great events for guests. I’d absolutely recommend it.

We tried a hostel for the first time when my wife and I came to New Orleans for Navy fleet week, and I’d definitely return for another short vacation. The rooms were clean and cozy. Our bed was old and very squeaky, but comfortable. The staff were friendly and knew the city well. I’m from here and never really took tours, so it was amazing to see what you take for granted when you live there. Breakfast is provided, and guests share the kitchen, numerous bathrooms, dining room, and living room. There’s also a nice outdoor deck and seating area. The walls are thin, so it got a little loud with people coming and going in the early morning, but everyone was extremely well behaved and respectful. I’d definitely recommend New Orleans Jazz House.

The free breakfast was amazing, and the staff were great. The decor is funky, and the beds were comfortable. Our room was a bit cold, and the electric heaters they used to fix that were extremely noisy. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the French Quarter, though the streetcar stops right outside. I’d definitely stay again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the clean rooms had proper bathrooms rather than dorm-style stalls. There’s a kitchen with some breakfast, plus a terrace and patio. The place is right beside a streetcar stop, making it easy to hop on and head toward Bourbon Street. I had a great experience here.
