Royal Frenchmen Hotel and Bar

The innkeepers are what make this place feel so special. They welcomed us like family, and their warmth stayed with me even after checkout. They’re the reason I’d want to come back again. I also loved the courtyard, a peaceful little spot to have coffee in the morning or unwind after a day out. The home itself has so much color, beauty, and character, and the location made it easy to enjoy what New Orleans has to offer. It’s a charming, memorable place to stay, and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly.

We’d barely tried bed and breakfasts before, but this stay sold us on that kind of trip. We felt right at home in the reggae room, and had the best sleep of our whole week there. We spent our last two nights here to be near Frenchman. We enjoyed going out there in the evenings, then came back to the B&B and didn’t hear a peep. The continental breakfast has a great variety, and the stay was well worth the price. 10/10 recommend.

The house has such a cool, funky style, and everyone working there made us feel welcome. The location is incredible, with some of the best music clubs in the world just a two-minute walk away. Even so, you don’t hear the noise and can sleep soundly. This was our second stay at the R&B, and it’s one of my favorite places from all our travels. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in New Orleans.

The colors and beautiful furniture are amazing, and I loved the artwork, especially the paintings of the actual R&B BNB. There’s a little breakfast nook, too. Many of my friends have stayed here and been very happy. The proprietors are congenial and highly educated, and they meet your needs promptly. Come on down and have a look around.
