The Eliza Jane, Autograph Collection

The Eliza Jane was on my bucket list, partly because it's my name, and I absolutely loved our stay. The interior and decor were gorgeous, the rooms beautiful and comfortable, and the bar and staff were amazing. We could easily walk to all the popular spots. A 10/10 experience!

I loved how walkable the location was, and as a solo traveler I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. The bed was a dream, one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. Between that, the cleanliness, and the welcoming feel, The Eliza Jane went well beyond what I expected. I already want to come back to New Orleans just to stay here again. The courtyard is gorgeous, like a hidden oasis, and the fitness center was spacious, spotless, and had everything you could need. The whole building has a chic, luxurious, relaxing atmosphere that still feels warm. You can sense its history as a former printing house in the striking architecture and decor, with so much thought put into each corner. And the scent throughout the building was incredible from the moment I walked in. I wish I knew what fragrance they use so I could buy it for home.

The courtyard was a nice outdoor spot to relax, and the cocktail bar and atmosphere were great. My wife and I both ordered a Sazerac, and it was our favorite of the trip. The hotel's boutique feel came through in the unusual paint colors, plush carpets, and vibrant finishes. Our room was clean and large, especially by New Orleans hotel standards. Its window looked into the building, though that wasn't a big deal for us.

The valet team was terrific, and the front desk handled everything efficiently and courteously. They offered luggage help when it was useful and left us alone when we declined. For advice on where to go, just ask concierge Fitz. He listens to what you’re after and gives great suggestions. Lovely place.
