The Luzianne

I stayed at Luizianne and came away pretty disappointed. The front door didn't lock properly, and we found that what seemed like any code could open it. We tried to troubleshoot several times but never felt sure leaving our belongings there. That isn't acceptable for a hotel. The ensuite tap leaked badly enough to flood the bathroom. We had to turn off the water ourselves to stop it, then clean up. If we hadn't stepped in, it could have caused serious damage. That isn't what I'd expect after paying for accommodation. There were no windows or natural light in the bedroom, and the lighting was inadequate. It felt more like a storage room than somewhere to sleep. The place seemed poorly maintained and below standard. Between the security worries, plumbing trouble, and uncomfortable room, I wouldn't return.

We had a minor check-in snag, but the host fixed it right away. The rental was wonderful, with a great location that felt safe for parking and walking. I'd recommend it and stay here again on future trips to New Orleans.

The beds were massive and the rooms were nice. Getting in and out was easy, and I was able to add early check-in and late checkout for a really cheap price. It was an amazing experience.

Really spacious accommodation in a very central spot. Excellent place, highly recommend it.
