We spent four nights here exploring New Orleans, and Union Lofts was a great base. The building was nicely finished, secure, and had a roof area to hang out on, though we were too busy enjoying the city to use it. It's quiet despite being near so much. We heard nothing from outside or inside, and there was essentially no crowd noise. Walk a few blocks and the street turns into Bourbon. The French Quarters, River Walk, Superdome, and many museums are easy to reach on foot, with enough attractions nearby to keep you occupied for weeks. There are also places to eat, convenience stores, and a pharmacy close by. I'd absolutely recommend Union Lofts for everyday living, and especially as a tourist's dream spot for a downtown New Orleans stay.

Two couples stayed for 4-5 days and had plenty of room and amenities. Check-in and check-out were easy, and everything was very clean and comfortable. Great location for walking everywhere!

The location makes this a perfect New Orleans base. The apartment is super-cool and unusual, with an urban feel, an interesting layout, plenty of room to move around, and rooftop access. Seems like a great rental for a few days or a few weeks in town.

Union Lofts is in an excellent spot, close to streetcar lines and within walking distance of the French Quarter, Rouse's Grocery store, and plenty more. The location and design make it a great place to live if those are your priorities. Management, though, has been the worst I've dealt with in any property I've lived in. It's often hard to reach anyone in the office, and during business hours I usually get voicemail. When I do reach someone, maintenance requests aren't handled promptly. My water heater has been a problem since I moved in three months ago. I put in several service requests and was told it had been addressed, but the latest repair took three weeks to be satisfactory. That only happened after I sat in their office and insisted maintenance come that day. Once the heater was fixed, they didn't even put its covers back on. That might sound minor, but with the high rent I expected much better service. I've also had problems with the toilet, internet, and cable. If you want courteous, respectful treatment and maintenance handled on time, look at one of the many other lofts in the area.
