The Standard

The Standard felt warm, fun, and welcoming, and it exceeded all my expectations. I lived there from when it first opened, moving into the brand new building, and stayed for 3 years and two months. I never had any problems. The staff were always friendly, respectful, extremely helpful, and attentive to whatever came up. The common areas were organized and impeccable, and the building was very safe. They also held recreational activities regularly. For downtown New Rochelle, especially if you want to travel by train or bus, it’s the best place to live. I recommend it!

UPDATE: Ten months later, we still have only positive things to say about the building and its management. We’ve lived in many places, and this has been the best by far. We’re going to miss it when we move. We fell on tough times this year, and management treated us with respect and was accommodating. We’ll keep recommending the place to everyone we meet. Glen, Karen, and Georgie, I hope you all have great success in your careers. My husband and I have lived here since summer, and the staff have made New Rochelle feel like home even though I was very hesitant about leaving Parkchester. Glen is an amazing realtor, with a positive attitude and unbeatable professionalism. Karen is the BEST building manager. She’s always available by text and handles any issues urgently. She’s also trained the front desk staff to be just as warm and professional.

Karen, the building manager, is second to none. The staff are extremely pleasant, and the building is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The gym and lounge areas are amazing. We’ve been here 4 years, and both old and new neighbors seem to share the vibe. The Standard is the STANDARD! Good job to the staff and residents. Let’s keep it going. I love it here.

My boyfriend and I have been here since the beginning of this month, and we’re loving it. Glen, the leasing manager, and Karen, the building manager, are friendly and very responsive. The concierge and maintenance staff are awesome too. The building is centrally located, with restaurants and the train station an easy walk away. The gym is always clean and quiet, though a little small, which makes sense for a smaller complex. They make up for it with lots of virtual classes you can choose on the TV in the yoga room, plus in-person classes. Covered parking at town price is hard to beat. It’s right across the road, and we’ve never had trouble finding a spot. There are several new luxury high-rises going up around New Ro, but I think your money is better spent here.
